REALTORS Care® Shelter Drive

The REALTORS Care® Shelter Drive was created to help raise funds for housing-related charities within our Board area.
Each year up to three such charities are selected, based on suggestions from REALTORS®, for the Shelter Drive to help support.

Coast Mental Health
Vancouver
Coast Mental Health Foundation provides essential housing, support, and employment services for people with mental illness so they can find their meaningful place in our community.
Howe Sound Women's Centre - Pearl's Place Transition House
Squamish
Pearl's Place is a safe and secure environment for women, children, and their pets who are leaving abusive relationships or at risk of experiencing violence and otherwise unsafe living conditions.
Imouto Housing for Young Women
Vancouver
Imouto Housing is a safe, supportive transitional housing program for young women ages 16 to 24 who are at risk or who are experiencing violence and abuse, being exploited, have no or unsafe housing, are pregnant, or who face additional barriers to finding or keeping housing.
Charity criteria
The charities must be:
- based in the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver area
- housing-related, including shelters, transition houses, and affordable housing initiatives
- registered with the federal government
