VANCOUVER, B.C. – Port Moody REALTOR® Sheila Francis was recently named the second ever recipient of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s Professional Excellence Award.

The Professional Excellence Award is presented annually to a REALTOR® who exemplifies the highest level of professional knowledge, ethics, peer and client relationships, and community involvement.

Francis was one of three finalists for the peer-nominated award, and was identified as the most deserving by a distinguished panel of judges. She was announced the winner at an annual dinner attended by nearly 400 of her colleagues in the profession.

Francis has made considerable contributions to the real estate profession and her community. She served as a division director with the REBGV for four years; sits on the board of the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, Port Moody; served on the capital campaign for Crossroads Hospice, Tri-Cities; and has been an active fundraiser for BC Children’s Hospital for more than 15 years.

“Sheila is dedicated to promoting the highest level of professionalism amongst her peers. Drawing upon her extensive knowledge and experience, she has served as a role model and mentor for countless REALTORS® throughout her time in the business,” Jake Moldowan, REBGV president said.
