Vancouver, B.C. - The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) is pleased to introduce K. Scott Russell as the 2009/2010 president of the board. Russell replaces outgoing President Dave Watt.

“I look forward to serving my professional association in the year we celebrate its 90th anniversary. The history of our Board closely mirrors that of Greater Vancouver. For generations, our association has been committed to protect property owners, ensure economic vitality, preserve our environment and build better communities,” Russell said.

Before being elected president by the REBGV Board of Directors, Russell served as a director for several years. He has also served as a director of the BC Real Estate Association.

He has been active in real estate since 1980, and is the broker/owner of Sutton Group – Seafair Realty in Richmond and South Delta.

Supporting the president in 2009 will be President-Elect Jake Moldowan and Vice- President Rosario Setticasi.
