COVID-19 safety protocols for REALTORS® remain in place for now
With BC moving into phase two of its restart plan, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver is consulting with the provincial government, the Real Estate Council of BC, and WorkSafe BC on a real estate-specific re-opening plan.

In the meantime, the pandemic safety protocols developed for real estate will remain in place. This includes:
- recommending no open houses
- limiting in-person interactions
- wearing masks when meeting in person
Updated safety guidelines for real estate will likely come later this summer.
“The Realtor community has shown great care and professionalism throughout the pandemic, quickly adapting practices to serve clients as safely as possible,” said Taylor Biggar, REBGV Chair. “While we’re seeing progress every day, Realtors must continue to follow the advice from our public health officials and regulators and do our part to bring the pandemic to an end.”
If you’re looking to buy or sell a home, ask your Realtor about how they can help you safely meet your housing needs.
