Real Thanksgiving Meal serves those in need across Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows

More than 300 people in need enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal at the 21st annual Real Thanksgiving Meal in Maple Ridge.

REALTORS® in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, and their friends and family, put on the meal with support from community partners like Thrifty Foods and the Salvation Army Ridge Meadows.

What started off as a way to help homeless residents has expanded over the years. The event now welcomes seniors with no family to celebrate with and families who don’t have the means to provide a Thanksgiving meal for themselves.

“It’s about helping everyone and anyone who needs it, not just a particular segment of people,” said Logan Eskesen, a local Realtor.
