Three REALTORS® were recognized for their deep committment to charitable causes in 2010. Rob Jeeves, Kenan MacKenzie, and Pat Simpson were each recipients of a REALTORS Care® Award.

Rob Jeeves

Rob is one of the founders of the Drive for the Cure golf tournament, which has raised approximately $1 million in its 12-year history. In 2010, Rob expanded the tournament to include a second one in Victoria. The funds raised each year support Ridge Meadows Hospital, Langley Memorial Hospital and the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.

Kenan MacKenzie
Prudential Sussex Realty

Kenan plays a central role in several charitable initiatives on the Sunshine Coast. He sits on the board of directors for both the Sunshine Coast Habitat for Humanity and the Sunshine Coast Hospice Society. He is a co-chair of the Prudential Rock Solids Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay Team and regularly volunteers with St. Mary’s Church and the Sunshine Coast Equestrian Club.

Pat Simpson

Pat chairs the Evening of Caring Gala for the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, which raised $235,000 in 2010. She also works with the Soroptimists of the Tri-Cities, organizing monthly dinners and clothing give-aways for women and children, and sponsoring needy families during the holiday season. She is a longstanding volunteer with the REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive, and her efforts have helped to directly benefit six local charitable organizations in the Tri-City area.
