Taylor Biggar, Oakwyn Realty, became a Realtor in 2003. Born and raised in Richmond, Taylor watched his father’s real estate career flourish and realized it was his calling, too.
In 2015, Taylor was elected to the Board of Directors, and has been active with the Governance Committee and various task forces. He served as chair-elect in 2020-21. Before that, he’d been active as a chair of the REBGV Richmond-South Delta-Gulf Islands Area.
Taylor volunteers with several local community organisations.
Daniel John has been a Realtor since 2005, and was first elected to the Board in 2018. He also teaches real estate courses at Langara College. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a diploma in Technology in Marketing Management – Commercial Real Estate. Daniel holds his professional R.I. designation and is the past president of the Board of Governors at the Real Estate Institute of BC. Daniel has volunteered with organizations such as the Richmond School District, Steveston Community Centre, and the REBGV Blanket Drive. |
Jennifer Quart became a Realtor in 2010 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2017.
Through her work with REBGV's Richmond/South Delta/Gulf Islands Area, Jennifer realized the importance of giving back to her profession.
She has been involved with various RE/MAX fundraising initiatives and community organisations such as the Richmond Field Hockey Club.
Brad Scott has been with the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) since 1978 and has served as its CEO since 2013.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, he had served as REBGV's Chief Operating Officer beginning in 1991. Brad first became a member of the management team in 1985 and has held a number of other positions with REBGV. Since 1996, he has played a central role in helping REBGV achieve numerous quality management awards including Excellence Canada’s Canada Order of Excellence (Quality).
He is a member of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia and holds both the R.I. (B.C.) and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.d) designations.
Brad has been around the organized real estate block several times serving on numerous directorates, task forces and committees in both Canada and the U.S. His strongest focus is to ensure REBGV continuously improves everything it does and builds on the tremendous legacy previous REBGV leaders built.
Colette Gerber, Heller Murch Realty, has been a Realtor since 2008.
She has volunteered her time and energy as chair of the Westside Area, and as a member of the Board of Directors since 2011. Colette has been a member of the Governance committee.
Before joining the real estate profession, she had a lengthy career in management, finance, and luxury residential development.
Colette has volunteered with and supported numerous charitable and community organisations throughout her career, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation, YMCA Metro Vancouver, and the Dunbar Vision Iimplementation Committee.
Doug Dang, B.Sc., B.A.Sc., has been with AMEX Broadway West Realty since becoming a Realtor in 2006. He’s serving his third term on the Board of Directors. Doug has served on the Board's Audit Committee and Governance Committee. He currently serves as a director with the Chinese Real Estate Professional Association and the Hoy Ping Benevolent Society. His goal is to achieve the Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D). Outside of real estate, Doug volunteers for his church and benevolent association. |
Diana Dickey, Sutton Seafair Realty, has been a Realtor since 2010 and Managing Broker since 2019.
She holds a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from UBC and a Diploma in Business Management from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is a member of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia and holds the R.I. (BC) designation. Diana has volunteered with charitable and community organisations throughout her career, including REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive, REBGV Professional Conduct Committee, and the City of Richmond.
Aside from Diana’s interest in real estate, she also enjoys travel, dragon boating, snow boarding, and exploring nature with local hikes.
Bob Ingratta has served on the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver since 2018.
Bob is a seasoned executive with CEO and Board of Directors experience to help capitalize on change, strategic planning, risk management, and sound governance.
Bob is currently Chair of a federal Commission in Ottawa; Vice-President and Treasurer of Azura Strata Council; and Past-President of an international regulatory organisation.
Bob lives in Vancouver and sails the Sunshine Coast and Gulf Islands.
Steve Jamieson was licensed in 1999 with RE/MAX and became a Managing Broker in 2008, and in 2017 became Director of Operations for Metro Vancouver Properties Group - an award winning group of 7 RE/MAX offices with over 550 agents. He also served as the Chair of the RE/MAX Lower Mainland Broker Owner association for 2 consecutive years.
In 2018 he left RE/MAX to help found and manage a new real estate brand in the Lower Mainland – Stilhavn Real Estate Services. Since then, Stilhavn has expanded its operations to include offices in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler.
Steve enjoys water sports, is an avid traveller, cook, dog lover, and sci-fi geek.
Arnold Shuchat, B. Comm., MBA, LL.B., B.C.L., became a Realtor in 2004. He brings his retail business background and former profession as a lawyer having practiced in the areas of taxation, civil litigation and builder’s liens.
Arnold's previous academic focus was in Organizational Development and he has maintained his passion in this area with a focus on organizational governance, responsiveness and change processes.
Arnold received the REALTORS Care® Award for community building charitable work in 2008 and 2009.
More recently, Arnold marshalled a grassroots movement in Richmond that successfully closed down a company emitting noxious odors in Richmond.
Believing that education is a life-long endeavor, Arnold has completed Watson's Governing With Intention and the ICD's NFP Governance Courses and regularly attends director education seminars.
Fiona Macdonald, MBA, ICD.D, is an experienced corporate director. Currently on the board of The Royal Canadian Mint, Fiona’s the Chair of the Human Resources and Workplace Health & Safety Committee. She’s also on the board of the Food Bank of Greater Vancouver as the Chair of Governance and Human Resources.
Fiona has been on the following boards: RF Capital, a publicly-traded investment bank and wealth management company; the BC Ferry Authority Board; and was the Chair of the BC Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
In her professional career, Fiona was a Managing Director for Willis Towers Watson, a global human resources and risk issue consultancy. Well-versed in governance issues, Fiona is a recognized expert in executive compensation and talent management issues.
Jason Wood, Stonehaus Realty, has been a Realtor since 2011.
In 2017, Jason served as a director for the Board’s Westside Area. This is his first term on REBGV’s Board of Directors.
He brings to the Board his experience as head of operations for maintenance and engineering with a resort company across the western United States and as a small construction business owner.
Jason studied business and hotel management and has completed Watson's Governing with Intention, the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager course, and the Canadian Real Estate Association’s leadership courses.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys the outdoors and working on cars.
Leslie McDonnell has been a Realtor since 2012. She holds a Bachelors degree in International Relations and a Masters in Business Administration, specialising in marketing.
Leslie was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2017. Previously, she sat on REBGV's Westside Area.
She's very interested in contributing to the betterment of the real estate profession.
Michael Mitsiadis became a Realtor in 1991. During this time, he’s accumulated extensive real estate knowledge. He first served on the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s Board of Directors between 2013 and 2015. He’s also volunteered on the association’s Board Development Committee and Area Task Force.
Before becoming a Realtor, Michael was vice-president of a venture capital firm responsible for managing public and private companies.
An advocate for continued education to raise skills, ethics, and professionalism within the real estate profession, Michael has studied general business at Langara College and has completed several Institute of Corporate Directors courses as well as the Canadian Real Estate Association’s leadership course series.
Outside of real estate, he’s volunteered and served on several community boards and organizations over the years.
